Nike Space Hippie 03 Vast Grey Hyper Crimson

The Nike Space Hippie 03 “Vast Grey” is a brand new silhouette featured in Nike’s innovative “Space Hippie” collection inspired by life on Mars. The exploratory series taps into the idea of living a sustainable lifestyle on Mars, where “materials are scarce and there is no remission supply,” as quoted by Nike. The upper features a woven sock-like Vast Grey base with an adjustable bold orange midfoot strap that is held together by a plastic clip on the mid-panel. Speckled detailing dots the heel clip that assists in the lacing structure that supports the upper. Crimson orange nylon accenting appears on the heel and a woven lace shroud replaces a traditional lacing system. The FoamX midsole features a speckled pattern and “space junk,” otherwise known as leftover materials from Nike’s cutting room floor, adorn the outsole.
